Jeanne Morin

Jeanne Morin of Aroostook, NB, passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on September 16, 2019.

Jeanne was born in Grand Falls, NB, on January 3, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Alphée and Nellie (Michaud) Poitras. Jeanne leave behind her daughters, Luce Morin of Siegas, NB, Suzanne Lavoie (Dean) of Alberta; her sons, Gui Morin (Anita) of Aroostook, NB, Gaitain Morin (Noella) of California Settlement, NB, Donald Morin of Winnipeg, MB, Gilles Morin (Solange) of Four Falls, NB, Jean Morin (Sophie) of Limestone Siding, NB, Alain Morin (Bertha) Aroostook, NB, François Morin of Aroostook, NB; her sisters, Effee Poitras of Grand Falls, NB, and Mona Parent of Connecticut; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Euclide Morin; her infant children, Anne and Samuel Morin; her sister, Irene Michaud; her brothers, Euclide Poitras, Cyr Poitras, Mathieu Poitras, and Richard Poitras; and her granddaughter, Mireille Morin.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 2 pm from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Aroostook, NB. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.

Music for the service was by Carol Andersen. The eulogy was given by Solange Morin.

Pallbearers were Gui Morin, Gaitain Morin, Gilles Morin, Jean Morin, Alain Morin, and Luc Morin.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
