Frances "Peaches" Claire

Following a brief illness, Frances "Peaches" Claire of Tobique First Nation, NB, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 17, 2019.

Frances was born in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB, on September 26, 1956. She was the daughter of Helen (Augustine) Clair and the late Thaddie Clair. Besides her mother, who lives in Elsipogtog, NB, Frances leaves behind her daughter, Jennifer Wells of Tobique First Nation, NB; her sons, Donald Moulton III (Alexis Perley) of Tobique First Nation, NB, Edgar Martin Clair (Darcy Pirie) of Tobique First Nation, NB, Stewart Clair of Elsipogtog, NB; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way; her sisters, Sandra Racine (Chris) of Bloc House, NS, Hazel Clair (Joel Augustine), Linda Clair, and Mary Angela Peters all of Elsipogtog, NB; her brothers, Robert and Irvine Clair, both of Elsipogtog, NB.

Frances was predeceased by her father; her life partner, Donald "Barney" Moulton; her sister, Maggie Clair; and her brother, Roger Clair.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 4 pm from St. Ann's Catholic Church, Tobique First Nation, NB. Father Curtis Sappier celebrated. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by organist Tracey Hamilton and the church choir. The eulogy was given by Melanie Perley.

Pallbearers were Wendell Perley, Josh Sisson, Brandon Arnold, Timmy Nicholas-McDougall, Keaton Francis-Perley, and Adam Perley.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
