Fred Holmes
1933-2019
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Fred Fleetwood Holmes of
Bairdsville, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph
hospital on the evening of December 3, 2019.
Fred was born in Clearview, NB, on July 9, 1933. He was the son of the late Annie Holmes and the late Fred Hathaway. Fred leaves behind wife, Vivian Holmes (Watson); his daughter, Lori Holmes of Bairdsville, NB; his sons, Danny Holmes and Shawn Holmes (Trisha), both of Terrace, BC; his grandchildren, Jenny, Haley, Darnell, Harlan, Cole, Tianna, Christopher, Lukas, and Jonathan; his great grandchildren, Carter, Delilah, Ennis, Nenna, Ashton, and Bowan.
He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Scotty Holmes; his sisters, Marie and Winifred; and his brothers, Clarence and Donald Giberson.
A memorial service celebrating Fred's life was held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Mildred Nicholson officiated.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
