Clarence Lagace
With his loving family by his side, Clarence Joseph Lagace of Wapske, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on February 17, 2020.

Clarence was born in Wapske, NB, on November 15, 1943. He was the son of the late Pete and Agnes (Thibodeau) Lagace. Clarence leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Lagace (Goucher); his daughters, Paula Legace (Ricky Harding) of Sisson Ridge, NB, Esther Murray of Plaster Rock, NB; his grandchildren, Justin (Kelsey), Jenaha, Ethan, and Emily; his sisters, Lorraine Shaw (Sheldon) of Oshawa, ON, Yvette Farrah (Charlie) of Miramichi, NB; his brother, Allan Lagace (Wanda) of Campbell River, BC; along with several nieces and nephews.

Clarence was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Ailene Fournier; his brothers, Leonide and Stephen Lagace.

Clarence worked at Frasers for 35 years. He loved to hunt, fish and do carpentry work. He loved travelling with his wife and eating out. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was very much loved by family and friends. He created a lot of lasting memories in his lifetime and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service was held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 2 pm from the Plaster Rock Free Will Baptist Church. Pastor Brian Williams officiated, assisted by Pastor Emile Arsenault. Interment will be in the Linton Corner Cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by Janice Williams. Remembrances were shared by Clarence's daughters, Paula and Esther, and his grandchildren, Justin and Emily.

Pallbearers were Justin Simpson, Ethan Murray, Ricky Harding, Eric Lagace, Danny Shaw, and Robert Deschenes.

Clarence's family would like to take this opportunity to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital and Extra-Mural. Your compassion and care was greatly appreciated.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
