Chad Arnold

1973-2020

Chad Arnold
It is with profound sadness that the family of Chad Arnold of Tobique First Nation, NB, announce his passing at his home on March 18, 2020 with his family by his side.

Chad was born in Limestone, ME, on September 25, 1973. He was the son of James and Joanne (Sappier) Arnold. Besides his parents, who live at Tobique First Nation, NB, Chad leaves behind his life partner and soul mate, Karen Augustine; his boys, Blade and Brooklyn Arnold of Tobique First Nation, NB; his brothers, Brad Sappier (Pam) of Perth-Andover, NB, Jimmy Arnold of Fredericton, NB, Brandon Arnold (Helen) of Tobique First Nation, NB; along with six step-children, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous special friends.

Chad was predeceased by both set of grandparents, Claude and Lucetta Arnold and Peter and Bertha Sappier.

Chad was a true Maliseet Warrior. He fought a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. Chad often said that he lived his life with no regrets. His smile would light up any room he would walk into. His smile will likely be one of the things his friends will remember him for, long with his sense of humour. His two biggest loves in this world were his boys and golf. He recently returned from Florida on a golfing trip with his buddies. Chad also had a profound love for his community, Tobique First Nation. He was a proud and active member of the community.

Because of the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 virus, a celebration of Chad's life will be held at a later date. This obituary will be reposted at a later date once all the details have been finalized.

Chad's family would like to acknowledge their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff of the Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital and the Extra-mural program for their care and compassion shown to Chad over the last few years.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
