Geraldine Collicott

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and nana, Geraldine Collicott. Geraldine was born on January 11, 1944 and left us on March 19, 2020.

Geraldine was the wife of Robert Collicott, the mother of three children, Kate (Jeff), Jon (Jenni), and Sarah (Scott). Nana to seven grandchildren, Matthew, Brooke, Garrett, Landon, Maddie, Jack, and soon, another grandson, Benjamin. She is survived by her brother, Joseph; sisters, Barbara, Juanita, Beatrice, Dorothy, Isabel, and Sandra. Geraldine was predeceased by her parents Evan Mulherin and Lillian (Mockler) Mulherin.

Geraldine and Robert moved to Perth-Andover, NB, in 1973 and settled in Tobique Narrows, NB, in 1975. They lived there with their family and surrounded by wonderful neighbours and friends for the past 45 years. Diane and Pierre Mailhoit were particularly close friends.

Aside from being a wonderful mother and nana, Geraldine taught kindergarten for many years and worked intensively on the family genealogy. She was a wonderfully creative force of nature; always working on many projects including research, crafts, gardening, and baking. She is known far and wide for her bread!

She loved all chances to spend time with her children and grandchildren, and she especially loved to share the magic of Christmas.

A celebration of life will be held at the Assumption Catholic Church in Grand Falls, NB, her childhood church, for family and friends, later in the summer.

Donations can be made to a School Breakfast Program or you can plant a tree in Gerry's name.
