Benny DeLeavey

Following a period of failing health, Benny DeLeavey of the Anderson Road, NB, passed away peacefully at the Edmundston Regional Hospital on the evening of May 15, 2020.

Benny was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on March 7, 1966. He was the son of the late Harry "Bob" and Josephine (Pickard) DeLeavey. Benny leaves behind his common-law partner, Rachel Sirois; his daughters, Sedeyice Nichols (Robert) of Florenceville-Bristol, NB, Sydney Taylor of Moncton, NB; his step-daughter, Robin Cormier of Grand Falls, NB; his step-son, Benjamin Cormier of Fredericton, NB; his granddaughter, Jolie St-Amand; his sister, Colleen Inman (Paul) of Crombie Settlement, NB; his brother, Lance DeLeavey (Solange) of Crombie Settlement, NB; his sister-in-law, Violet DeLeavey of Linton Corner, NB.

Benny was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Gary and Brent DeLeavey.

Respecting Benny's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. A celebration of Benny's life will be held at the Burntland Brook Hall on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 2-4 pm. Interment will be in the Anfield Community Cemetery.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
