Barbara Murray
1940-2020
Following a brief illness, Barbara Murray of Plaster Rock, NB, passed
away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on June 19,
2020.
Barbara was born in McAdam, NB on April 28, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Melvin and Emily Moffitt. Barb leaves behind her daughters, Shelley McElveny (Mike) of Plaster Rock, NB, Janice Agbenyoh (Francis) of Ottawa, ON; her grandchildren, Selorm, Dzifa, and Brendon; her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Murray and Eleanor Murray, both of Fredericton, NB; her brother-in-law, Dick Sabourin of Oromocto, NB; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Barb was the last surviving member of her family.
Barb was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ivan Murray (2018); her grandson, Jamie Green; along with two sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service celebrating Barbara's life will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Linton Corner Cemetery.
