Joseph Honoré McGrath
Following a long and courageous battle with cancer, Joseph Honoré McGrath of Aroostook, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on July 18, 2020.

Joe was born in Tracadie, NB, on January 24, 1942. He was the son of the late Johnny and Susanne (Beaulieu) McGrath. Joe leaves behind his sisters, Ludivine Landry of Toronto, ON, Sister Gilberte McGrath of Bathurst, NB, Sister Vitaline McGrath of Moncton, NB, Gisèle Ferguson of Tracadie-Sheila, NB, Odette Robichaud (Louis) of Petit-Rocher, NB, Simonne Forero (Victor) of Gatineau, QC, and Raymonde Pinet (Etienne) of Paquetville, NB; his brothers, Jean-Paul McGrath of St-Isidore, NB, Gérard McGrath of Tracadie-Sheila, NB, and Aubin McGrath (Rose-Hélène) of Alberta; his sisters-in-law, Marina Ferguson of Shediac Bridge, NB, Yvette Lozier of Moncton, NB, and Kathleen McGrath of Shippagan, NB; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Viateur McGrath, Eugene McGrath (late Edna), and Elie McGrath.

Joe worked as a Public Health Inspector for the Province of New Brunswick prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #6414, and a member of the Perth-Andover Elks Club.

Joe's remains will be taken back to his hometown of Tracadie-Sheila, NB, where he will be resting at Robichaud Funeral Home. A private funeral will be held at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Catholic Church in Pont-Landry, NB.

Joe's family would like to acknowledge the excellent care given to him by Dr. Peter Moore and the staff of Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital over the years.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home of Perth-Andover, NB and Robichaud Funeral Home of Tracadie-Sheila, NB.
