Andrew Leslie Robertson

Following a period of failing health, Andrew Leslie Robertson of Casselman, Ontario passed away peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital on February 18, 2024.

Andrew was born in Plaster Rock NB, on September 17, 1936. He was the son of Leslie and Inez (Copp) Robertson. Andrew leaves behind his two daughters; Rhonda Gaudet (Mike), and Maureen Maidment (Terry); his five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Andrew was predeceased by his wife, Marlene (Landry) Robertson; his parents; two sisters, Iva Hollins and Rhoda MacKellar.

He is survived by his brother, Clem Robertson of Plaster Rock, NB, and his brother, Alan (Sharyn) Robertson of Kingston, ON.

Andrew dedicated his life to the RCAF joining at 17 years old. Taking his wife and family across Canada and overseas. He served for 32 years, then worked at Boeing in Toronto, the airplanes drew him in. Then they moved to Ottawa to be close to his daughters and their families. He started working at CFS Leitrim from 1992-2010. This was a special place for him, got him back in the door with the Canadian Armed Forces. He spoke fondly of it when he finally did retire.

There will be no service. Burial will be at Linton Corner at a later date.
