Vella Bowmaster

Vella Louise Bowmaster of Morrell Siding, NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital on March 18, 2024.

Vella was born in Tilley, NB, on March 15, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Hazel (Sullivan) St. Peter. Vella leaves behind her daughter, Sandra Brooks (Paul) of South Hampton, NB; her sons, Frankie Bowmaster (Veronica Bravo) of Fort McMurray, AB, and Brian Bowmaster (Pamela) of Morrell Siding, NB; 7 grand children; 12 great grand children; 2 great great grand children; her sister, Lois Baker of Perth-Andover, NB; her brother, Harold St. Peter (Ila Jean) of Morrell Siding, NB; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Vella was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Vaughn Bowmaster; her grandsons Robbie and Jacob Bowmaster; her sisters, Leitha Williams, Hilda Wardwell, Ida Crawford, Dorothy Morrell, Joyce St. Peter, Myritta Hitchcock, and Doreen Bowmaster; her brother, Leylon St. Peter.

Respecting Vella’s wishes, there will be no funeral service held. A graveside service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Limestone Siding, NB, at a later date.

For those who wish, memorial donations to St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
