Stephen Currie

Following a lengthy illness, Stephen Evans Currie of Tilley, NB, passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on March 28, 2024.

Stephen was born in Tilley, NB, on December 5, 1944. He was the son of the late Kenneth and Hilda (Macro) Currie. Stephen leaves behind his partner, Patricia Rogers of Tilley, NB; his daughter, Sherrie Parks (Brian) of Loretto, ON; his sons, Stephen Currie Jr. of Fort McMurray, AB, John Currie (Tina) of Tilley, NB; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Parks, Ashley Parks, Dawn Parks, Hunter Currie, and Clay Currie; his sisters, Ruth Shorey of Grand Falls, NB, Bernice Tompkins of Saint John, NB, and Hilda Hamilton (Thomas) of Limestone Siding, NB; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Currie of Fredericton, NB, and Gail Currie of Tilley, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Kenneth, Milton, and David Currie.

Funeral service was held at Brunswick Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2 pm. Rev. Todd McGuire officiated. Interment will be in the Currie Cemetery in Tilley, NB, at a later date.

Music for the service was by Rev. Todd and Penny McGuire. The eulogy was given by Kaitlyn Parks.

Pallbearers were Hunter Currie, Clay Currie, Harry Hamilton, Shawn Hamilton, Milton Currie, and Mark Currie.
