Graeme MacIntosh
Graeme MacIntosh of Tobique Narrows passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on December 11, 2010.

Graeme was born in Andover, NB on June 27, 1932 and was the son of the late Aden and Mildred (Wallace) MacIntosh. Graeme leaves behind his daughters Judy MacIntosh (J.R. Lewis) of Oromocto, Ellen MacIntosh-Harris (Jeff) of Fredericton; his sons Rod MacIntosh (Colleen) and Malcolm "Cappy" MacIntosh, both of Tobique Narrows; sister Sally Hawks of Miller Lake, ON; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Glenna MacIntosh (Wallace); brothers Dr. Robert and Ian MacIntosh; sisters Dorothy Hatfield and Katryne Porter.

Graeme graduated from Acadia University in 1954 with two degrees. He taught science at Southern Victoria High School from 1955 until he retired in 1988. Graeme enjoyed playing many sports, but two sports in particular were his favorites, hockey and horses. He played for the Acadia University hockey team and was the team captain for a few years. After returning to Perth-Andover, he was a founding member of the Sounthern Victoria High School hockey program. Graeme was also an avid horseman, and was the youngest driver registered with the US Trotting Associating. He was also a member of the Valley Horse and Saddle Club. On May 17, 1956, Graeme married the love of his life, Glenna Wallace.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Ferrell officiated. Interment followed in Larlee Creek Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Roma Ferrell, Dan Vallance, Roddy MacIntosh, and Lachlan MacIntosh. Amanda MacIntosh played the bagpipes at the service. Rememberances were shared by Roddy MacIntosh and Robin Porter.

Honorary pallbearers were Pierre Mailhiot, Bob Collicott, Lloyd Colwell, Jake DeMerchant, Jim Wallace, and Dawson Murray.

Pallbearers were Derek Cronk, Jeff Harris, Duncan MacIntosh, Gary Hatfield, Chris Porter and Alan Young.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
