Geraldine Davenport of Beaconsfield passed away at the Upper River
Valley Hospital on May 17, 2012.
Born in Anfield, NB on November 27, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Hughie and Mildred (Sisson) Toner. Geraldine leaves behind her husband Floyd Davenport; her children Phillip Toner (Annette Jacques) of Beaconsfield, Naida Downing (Richard) of Bairdsville, Lisa Hatheway (Stephen) of Beaconsfield; sisters Dora Jamer (Dave) Saint John, Donna Nicholson (Audbur) of Riverview, Carol Briggs (Blake) of Riverview, Rhoda Macro (Graham) of Perth-Andover, Barbara Watson (Allen O'Keefe) of Beaconsfield; brothers Guy Leigh Toner (Nadine) and Danny Toner (Louise) both of Beaconsfield; sisters-in-law Dolores Toner of Beaconsfield, Stella Toner of Ontario; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 more great grandchildren on the way; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers baby Gibson, Patrick, and Glendon Toner.
Funeral service was held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 2 pm from St. George's Anglican Church, Bairdsville. Rev. Bonnie LeBlanc officiated, assisted by Rev. John Mills. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.
Music for the service was by organist Carol Andersen and soloist Stephen Hatheway. Remembrances were shared by Geraldine's daughter, Naida Downing, several of her grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Seth Downing, Kayle Toner, Cashman Downing, Eric Hatheway, Jordan Hatheway, Clay Hatheway.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
