Daryl Donovan

The passing of Daryl Donovan of California Settlement occurred peacefully at his home on March 24, 2014, following a brief illness.

Daryl was born in Piercemont, NB on July 23, 1945. He was the son of the late Lemuel and Doris (Saunders) Donovan. He leaves behind his wife Nancy (Brayall) Donovan; his daughters Shella Lister (Thomas) of Harvey, NB, Pamela Baird (Andrew) of Fredericton; his son Darren Donovan (Darlene) of Nanton, AB; his sister Carol Donovan of Four Falls; his brothers Gary Donovan (Carmen) of Woodstock, Steve Donovan (Sally) of Ontario; 8 grandchildren Josh Pelkey, Adam Pelletier, Katherine Pelkey, Kara Moxon, Caitlyn Baird, Cassie Baird, Andrea Adam, Natalie Lister and his four legged friend Diamond. He was predeceased by his parents.

Daryl was an Air Traffic Controller in the Canadian Armed Forces for 20 years. More recently, he delivered newspapers in the California Settlement area.

In accordance of Daryl's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Limestone Siding, at a later date.
