Olga Wade
Olga Cecilia Wade of Kincardine passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on April 1, 2014 after a period of failing health.

Olga was born in Montreal, Quebec, on February 16, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Cecilia (Harrisson) Edwards. Olga leaves behind her daughters Joanne Campbell (Gary) of Perth-Andover; Celia Inman (Jerry) of Kincardine; her sons Fred Wilmot (Sybil) of Riverview, Ron Wade (Patti) of Calgary, AB, Doug Wade of Slave Lake, AB; her sister Helen Barnes of Kelowna, BC, Josephine Kirk of Belleville, ON; grandchildren Peggy, Karen, and Kathy Wilmot; Jaymie Wilmot; Cheryl, Terry, Mike and Debbie Campbell; Jennifer and Michelle Wade; Jorden and David Wade; Andrea and Dana Wade; Greg Giberson, Jeremy and Joni Inman. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Leonard Wade; her sons Robert Wilmot and Dean Wade; her sister Barbara Trembath.

Olga was a long time resident of Kincardine after living and working in many places in the U.S. and Canada. She was a graduate of Business College in Winnipeg. She finished her working years as office manager at United Contractors and secretary at Bon Accord Seed Farm.

Olga will be remembered for her quick sense of humour. Craft and painting skills and her strength of character surviving many difficulties and losses in her life. She was a former member of the UCW Women's Institute, Elks Royal Purple and Royal Canadian Legion. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Victoria Glen Manor for their compassion and professionalism shown to Olga during her years there.

A memorial service will be held on July 26, 2014 at 2 pm from the Melville United Church, Kincardine. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Donations in Olga's memory can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or charity of your choice.
