Gwendolyn G. McQuade of Perth-Andover passed away peacefully at Hotel
Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on July 5, 2014.
Gwen was born in Limestone Siding, NB on April 4, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Ellen (Rivers) Cronk. Gwen leaves behind her daughters Judy Theriault of Burlington, ON, Annabelle DeMerchant of Trenton, ON, Alta Brayall (Robert) of Medford, NB, Rebecca Dixon (Curtis) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Sandra Grant of Carlingford, Nadine Draus (Tom) of Perth-Andover, Ellen Forbes (Michael) of Trenton, ON, Dianna McDivitt (Roy) of Presque Isle, ME; her sons William Cronk (Ellen) of Grand Falls, NB, David McQuade of Perth-Andover, Donald McQuade (Anne) of Port Hope, ON, Clarence McQuade (Nila) of Perth-Andover; 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Earl McQuade; her grandson Ronnie Theriault; sister Beatrice McCarthy; brother Ivan Cronk; her son-in-law Gerard Theriault.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Mrs. Sharron Moffatt officiated. Interment followed in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Limestone Siding.
Music for the service was by Carol Andersen and Lee Longstaff. The eulogy was given by Curtis Dixon.
Pallbearers were Curtis Dixon, Wesley Dixon, Frank Draus, Aaron Cronk, Robert Brayall, and Joe Brayall.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
