Herman Bowmaster

Following a brief illness, Herman Bowmaster of Morrell Siding passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on July 15, 2014.

Herman was born on April 20, 1928 in Cliffordvale, NB. He was the son of the late Herman Sr. and Lillian (Higgins) Bowmaster. He leaves behind his wife Doreen Bowmaster (St. Peter); his daughters Linda Pelkey (Gary) of Aroostook, Ruth Holt (James) of New Denmark, Eileen Jensen (Larry) of New Denmark, Elva Gallagher (Ron) of Perth-Andover, Donna Saulis (partner Randy) of Colbourn, ON; his sons Danny Bowmaster (Mireille) of Morrell Siding, Johnny Bowmaster of Plaster Rock, Melvin Bowmaster of Aroostook, Peter Bowmaster (partner Brittany Jackson) of Caribou, ME; his sister Donna Dee of Perth-Andover. He was predeceased by his parents; his daughters Barbara Bowmaster and Judy Brayall; his grandson Timothy Bowmaster; his sisters Mary Baker and Alice Morrell; brothers Tom Bowmaster, Leo Bowmaster, Vaughn Bowmaster, and Roy Bowmaster.

Funeral service was held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 11 am from Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Curtis Sappier officiated. Interment followed in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Limestone Siding.

Music for the service was by David Baker, Donald Baker, and Annette Hitchcock. The eulogy was given by David Baker.

Pallbearers were Ron Gallagher, Danny Bowmaster, Donald T. Bowmaster, Donald A. Bowmaster, Brian Bowmaster, and Milton John Currie Jr.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
