John "Jack" Swazey

John "Jack" Swazey of Tilley passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on August 18, 2014.

Born in Tilley on June 20, 1930, Jack was the son of the late Herbert and Nellie Swazey. Jack leaves behind his wife Phyllis Swazey (McCarty); his children Mona Sullivan (Peter) of Plaster Rock, Sharon Albert (Glenn) of Craigs Flat, Brian Swazey (Debbie) of Tilley; his sisters Donna Pelkey (Rufus) of Aroostook, Phyllis Abel of Perth-Andover, Frances Whitmore of Caribou, ME; his brother Roy Swazey (Clara) of New York; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; his son Johnny Swazey; his brothers Herbert, Allison, and Glen Swazey; his sister Alice Pelkey; granddaughters Cheryl and Nicole Sullivan.

Funeral service was held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. David Ferrell officiated. Interment followed in St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Medford, NB.

Music fort the eulogy was by Kevin McCarty, Elva and Charles Dickinson. The eulogy was given by Sharon Albert. The urn was carried by Danny Pelkey
