Clarence "Rags" Yeomans
1939-2014
Clarence "Rags" Yeomans of Sisson Ridge passed away
peacefully at his home on August 19, 2014 due to complications of lung
cancer.
Born in Crombie Settlement, NB on July 29, 1939, he was the son of the late Wellington and Doris (Bell) Yeomans. Clarence leaves behind his wife of 50 years Connie Yeomans (Murray); his children Brenda Yeomans (Stephen Prior) of Anfield, Dean Yeomans (Bonnie) of Plaster Rock, Blake Yeomans (Michelle) of Beaconsfield; his sisters Kay Goodine of Sisson Ridge, Edith DeLeavey of Crombie Settlement, Jessie Yeomans of Perth-Andover, Myrna Andersen of British Columbia, Jean Campbell (Bill) of Fort Fairfield, ME, Carol Hathaway (Sterling) of Fort Fairfield, ME; his brother Glen Yeomans (Olive) of Sisson Ridge; his sisters-in-law Elizabeth "Babes" Yeomans, Mildred Yeomans, Ruth Yeomans, Elizabeth Thimlar (Steven); grandchildren Mindy Johnson (Nathan Mackenzie), Brittany Johnson (Logan Bedford), Brandon Theriault, Cassandra Theriault, Erika Yeomans, Hunter Fournier, Brandon Prior, and other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; his son Devon Yeomans; grandsons Justin and Jeremy Johnson; brothers Emery, Donald, Charles, and Boyd Yeomans.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21, 2104 at 11 am from the Tobique Chapel. Rev. Daniel McKillop officiated. Interment followed in the Linton Corner Cemetery.
Music for the service was by Rev. Daniel and Ruth McKillop, and Rev. Shawn Cronkhite. The eulogy was given by John Giberson.
Pallbearers were Stephen Prior, Logan Bedford, Brian Yeomans, John Yeomans, Mark Yeomans, and Emery Yeomans.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
