Margaret Bradford

Margaret Bradford of Plaster Rock passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September 7, 2014.

Margaret was born in Plaster Rock, NB on November 29, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Alexander "Sandy" and Elizabeth (Palmer) Simpson. She leaves behind her sons David Bradford of Plaster Rock, Billy Bradford (Patty) of Plaster Rock, Jim Bradford (Janet) of Wetaskiwin, AB; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Buddy Bradford; her sisters Emma Dube, Bell Simpson, Leola Johnson, and Laura Everett; brothers Archie, Alex, Jim, and Bill Simpson.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 2 pm from the Tobique Chapel. Rev. Warren Clapham officiated. Interment followed in the Plaster Rock Community Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Mike Chase. The eulogy was written by Marsha Bradford and read by Bertie Smith.

Pallbearers were Kip Simpson, Russell Johnson, Kyle Tompkins, Stacey Bradford, Toby Harding, and Billy Bradford.

Margaret's family wishes the extend their sincere gratitude to Rowena Smith and the staff of Mountain View Special Care Home for the care given to her.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
