Lorraine Hemeon
Following a lengthy illness, Lorraine Hemeon of Plaster Rock passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on September 24, 2014.

Lorraine was born in Botwood, NF on October 15, 1960. She was the daughter of the late Wilson and Maude (Waterman) Hemeon. Lorraine leaves behind her sisters Mary Leroux of Ottawa, ON, Louise Rahmlow (Klaus) of Germany, Barbara Hemeon of Norway, Sherrie Gamblin (Terry) of Plaster Rock, Valerie O'Reilly (Robbie) of Edmonton, AB, Darlene Rasch of Fredericton; her brothers Harvey Hemeon, Bruce Hemeon (Verna), Norris Hemeon (Judy), Grant Hemeon (Loretta), Ross Hemeon (Joanne), Richard Hemeon, all from Botwood, NF, Elvis Hemeon (Susan) of Ottawa, ON, Rodney Hemeon (Johanne) of Cochrane, ON; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11 am from the Tobique Chapel. Pastor Adrian Golea officiated. Interment followed in the Linton Corner Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Kenneth Campbell. The eulogy was given by Sherrie Gamblin.

Pallbearers were Chris Bridges, Terry Gamblin, Elvis Hemeon, Ross Hemeon, Norris Hemeon, and Oram Laskey.

Lorraine's family would like the thank Dr. Barry Wecker, the staff of Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital, as well as Lorraine's homecare workers, Marsha, Lisa, and Wanda, for the excellent care given to Lorraine over the years.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home. Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
