Philip Ruff

Following a long and courageous battle with cancer, Philip Ruff of Kilburn passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital on September 25, 2014.

Philip was born on August 10, 1951 in Bath, NB. He was the son of Phyllis Ruff (Giggie) and the late Philip Ruff. Besides his mother, who lives in Oakland, NB, Philip leaves behind his wife Norma Ruff (Taylor); his children Michelle Williams (Ellis) of Beaconsfield, Jason Ruff (Julie) of Kilburn; his grandchildren Tamara, Sekyra and Cierra Ruff, Brady and Taylor Williams, Carson Dube; his sisters Janice O'Neil (Fred) of Oshawa, ON, Faye Ruff (Dale) of Drayton Valley, AB, Shirley Cahill (Billy) of Beechwood, NB; his brothers Matt Ruff (Anne) of Fredericton, Tom Ruff (Nellie) of Ontario, Ralph Ruff (Paulette) of Pontypool, ON, Kevin Ruff (Paula) of Bath. He was predeceased by his father and an infant son Terry Ruff.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Dwayne Broad officiated. Interment followed in the Mineral Cemetery.

Remembrances were shared by Eugene Patterson and Ralph Ruff. Philip's granddaughter, Taylor Williams, sang a song for her grampy.

Pallbearers were Greg Broad, Benji Butterfield, Stephen O'Neil, Doug Chapman, Cory Cahill, and Jerry Inman.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
