Wendell Lennon
The passing of Wendell Lennon of Perth-Andover occurred at the Hotel Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital on October 3, 2014.

Born in Medford, NB, on March 5, 1929, he was the son of the late John and Sophia (Dixon) Lennon. Wendell leaves behind his wife Grace Lennon (Newlands); his daughters Wendy Depow (Charles) of Woodstock, Marilyn Lennon of Fredericton; his sons John Lennon (Kim) of Fredericton, Derek Lennon (Louise) of Perth-Andover; his sister Edna Watson of Bath; his brother Byron Lennon (Martha) of Framingham, Mass; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Wilfred and Bernard Lennon.

Wendell worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and operator. He was also well known for building canoes. His canoes have sold as far away as Saskatchewan. He was also an avid salmon fisherman.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Longmoore officiated. Interment followed in the Presbyterian Rural Cemetery.

Music for the service was by organist Dawn Bishop and soloist Sandi Tattersall. The eulogy was given by Grace Lennon.
