Vinal Paul
The unexpected passing of Vinal Paul of Tobique First Nation occurred at the Hotel Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital on October 10, 2014.

Vinal was born in Tobique First Nation on January 4, 1959. He was the son of Cecila Paul and the late Clarence Sappier. Besides his mother, who lives in Tobique First Nation, Vinal leaves behind his daughters Kaylee Paul and Carolann Paul both of Tobique First Nation; his stepdaughter Amanda Brown (Rick) of Boston, Mass; brothers Gaylan Paul of Caribou, ME, John Paul (Lisa) of Tobique First Nation, Mike Paul of Tobique First Nation, Peter Paul and Todd Paul, both of Connecticut; Half-sisters Tammy and Audra Sappier both of Tobique First Nation; half-brothers Tony Sappier and Trent Sappier, both of Tobique First Nation; he was predeceased by his father; his wife Samantha Paul (Solomon); and his half-sister Monica St-Jacques.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11 am from St. Ann's Catholic Church. Father Curtis Sappier celebrated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.

Music for the service was by organist Tracy Hamilton and the church choir.

Pallbearers were John Paul, Kenny St-Jacques, Mike Bear, Hector Paul, Rodney Paul, Andy Laporte, and Ron Watton.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
