Preston Flowers

The passing of Preston Flowers of Aroostook occurred at the Victoria Glen Manor in the early morning of October 24, 2014.

Preston was born in Carlingford, NB on August 16, 1924. He was the ninth of thirteen children born to the late Ernest and Lillian (Fields) Flowers. He leaves behind his daughters Carolyn Dixon (Donald) of Aroostook, Heather Bottos (Robert) of Thunder Bay, ON; his son Robert Flowers (Carlene) of Aroostook; his sisters Inez Mackin of Brace Bridge, ON, Donna Turner of Carlingford, Schylor Turner of Big Stone Gap, Virginia; four grandchildren David Bottos (Lynn), Monica Hatheway (Michael), Allison Flowers (Jeremy Jardine), and Rob Flowers (Stacy McCarthy); two great grandchildren Noah Jardine and Dean Bottos. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife Mavis Flowers (Christie); four sisters and five brothers.

Funeral service was held on October 27, 2014 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Adrian Golea officiated. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Rural Cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by organist Dawn Bishop. The eulogy was given by Dennis Clark.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
