Robert "Bob" Murphy
1952-2014
Following a year long battle with cancer and with his family by his
side, Robert "Bob" Murphy of Plaster Rock passed away
peacefully at his home on October 27, 2014.
Bob was born in Plaster Rock on November 17, 1952. He leaves behind his mother Roberta Harrison (Murphy) of Plaster Rock; his wife Stephanie Murphy (Corey); his daughters Alicia Taylor (Cristian) of Madrid, Spain, Alaina Murphy (Kevin Connors) of Kingston, NS, Ashley Murphy (Jared MacTavish) of Moncton; his grandsons Landon and Kayden Connors; sisters Karen Green (Ronald) of Weaver, Colleen Hamilton (Alvin) of Sisson Brook; his brother Kendall Harrison (Carmen Gill) of Rusagonis, NB. He was predeceased by his stepfather Emerson Harrison; his grandparents Charles and Sarah Murphy.
Bob worked as a purchasing and inventory manager for Mount Carleton Provincial Park prior his illness.
Funeral service was held from St. Andrew's United Church on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11 am. Rev. Susan Estabrooks officiated.
Music for the service was by organist Peter Penny. The eulogy was given by Len O'Halloran.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
