James Baker of Tilley passed away by accident in Caraquet, NB on
October 27, 2014.
Jimmy was born in Perth-Andover, NB on October 8, 1956. He was the son of the late Roland and Verna (Wallace) Baker. Jimmy leaves behind his wife Pamela Baker (McQuade); his daughters Rachel Baker (Andrew Roach) of Grand Falls, NB, Hannah Baker, Heidi Baker, Heather Baker all from Tilley; his sons B.J Baker and Roland Baker both of Tilley; his sisters Belinda Laforest (Carmel) of Tilley, Lois McCarthy (Wayne) of Bath, Cheryl Mulherin (Ronald) of Grand Falls; his brother Peter Baker (Margaret-Ann) of Tilley; his grandsons Noah Baker-Tompkins and Hayden Baker-Roach. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother Stephen Baker and his wife Jean.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2 pm from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tilley. Father Gilbert Doddatto officiated, assisted by Rev. David Ferrell and Father Curtis Sappier. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.
Music for the service was by Rev. David and Roma Ferrell, and Tim Parsons. The eulogy was given by Alan Young.
Pallbearers were Roland Baker, B.J. Baker, Bradley Baker, Richard Baker, Jonathan Baker, Alan Young.
Honorary pallbearers were James Laforest and Mason Baker.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
