Mona G. Everett (Arenburg)
1919-2014
Our cherished Mother passed away peacefully into God's loving hands at
her home on December 6, 2014.
Mona Geneva (Arenburg) Everett was born on August 1, 1919 in Kentville, NS one of 11 children born to Frank Arenburg and Ada (Keddy) Arenburg. Mona was predeceased by her husband Frank R. Everett in 1966; her son-in-law Lloyd Colwell in 2014; and eight siblings. She leaves behind her twin sons Larry Everett of Ottawa, ON and his children Tara and Sean, Jerry Everett of Bowmanville, ON and his children Michael and Tracey; her daughters Eva McLaughlin of Perth-Andover and her children Clark and Heidi, Mona Colwell of Perth-Andover and her son Chad; several great grandchildren and one great great grandson; also by one stepson Gary Everett (Marilyn) and family; her brothers Frank Arenburg (Winn) and Robert Arenburg (Joyce) both of Kentville, NS; a sister-in-law Jean Arenburg of Kingston, ON.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 11 am from Trinity Anglican Church. Rev. Fran Bedell officiated. Interment followed in the Presbyterian Rural Cemetery.
Music for the service was by organist Elizabeth Sullivan and the church choir. The eulogy was written by Sharon Moffatt and delivered by Margaret Wagner.
Mona's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful services from Extra-Mural (Joyce Burgoyne, RN) and to Mum's devoted homecare workers: Susan London, Vickie Grant, Debbie Boone, Debbie Boyce, Diane Kinney, Nancy Janssens, and Chelsea Dyer.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
