Lois Grant of Fort Fairfield, ME passed away peacefully at her home on
December 20, 2014.
Lois was born on December 23, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Wilmot and Florence (Giberson) Wortman. Lois leaves behind her husband, Fred Grant; her daughters, Dawn Grant of Fort Fairfield, ME, Pauline Hunter (Ed) of St. Stephen, NB; her son, Dale Grant of Phoenix, AZ; her sisters, Velda Grant of Kilburn and Opal Stacey of Perth-Andover; her brother, Arnold Wortman (Leitha) of Centerville; grandchildren, Heather, Tina, Ed, Michelle, Paula, and Jennifer; 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was predeceased by her parents; her daughter, Sheila Grant; daughter-in-law, Adrienne Grant; sisters, Leona Murchison (late John), Evelyn Michaud (late Lawrence); brothers, Bradford Wortman (late Marion), Marven Wortman, Clarence Wortman (late Audrey).
Funeral service was held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11 am at Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Mel Norton officiated. Interment will be in the Kilburn Cemetery at a later date.
Music for the service was by Steve Kinney.
Pallbearers were Ross Wortman, Michael Grant, Danny Stacey, Dana Stacey, Burt Winslow, and Garnett Grant.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
