Delores "Doreen" Eccleston
Delores "Doreen" Eccleston of the Anderson Road passed away peacefully and is joining her husband, Fred Eccleston, predeceased in 2007, at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital on March 10, 2015.

Doreen was born Arthurette, NB on March 4, 1939. She was the daughter of the late John and Winnifred (Stacey) Fraser. Doreen leaves behind her daughters Linda Linton (Tim) of Linton Corner, Cheryl Paris (Kevin) of Whitecourt, AB, Janet Rioux (Jamis) of Athabasca, AB; her sons Ronald Eccleston (Margie), Brian Eccleston (Theresa), and Donald Eccleston (Cindy), all from the Anderson Road; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; her sister Jenny Winder of Halifax, NS; her brother William Fraser of Odell; and her special nephew Gerald Fraser (Charlene) of Arthurette. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Frederick Eccleston; her sisters Phyllis Plant and Gladys Watson; her brothers Jackson and Harold Fraser.

Doreen loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, Tippy. She enjoyed playing games, such as bingo and Skip Bo, with her homecare girls.

Funeral service was held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2 pm from the Tobique Chapel. Mr. Kris Shoemaker officiated. Interment followed in Linton Corner Cemetery.

The eulogy was given by her daughter, Linda Linton. Several of the grandchildren read poems at the service.

Honorary pallbearers were Eric Linton, Jason Eccleston, Travis Paris, Colin Rioux, and Calvin Davidson.

Pallbearers were Ronald Eccleston, Brian Eccleston, Donald Eccleston, Tim Linton, Kevin Paris, and Jamis Rioux.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
