Allison Monteith
With his family by his side, Allison Monteith of Medford passed away peacefully at the Victoria Glen Manor on March 26, 2015.

Allison was born in Medford, NB on July 20, 1932. He was the son of the late Thomas and Alma (McQuade) Monteith. Allison leaves behind his wife Beulah Monteith (St. Peter); his daughters Pamela Goodine (Steve) of Madison, ME, Laurie-Anne Pelkey (Ben) of Aroostook, Lisa Bowmaster (Donald) of Morrell Siding; his sons David Monteith (Marion) of Saint John, Daniel Monteith (Huguette) of Medford, Thomas Monteith (Tracy) of Perth-Andover, Travis Monteith of Medford, Allison Monteith Jr. of Medford; his sisters Geraldine Chandler of Ontario, Donna Mulherin of Grand Falls; his brother Archie Monteith (Etta) of Medford; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; his first wife Armelita Monteith (McCarthy); his brother Wilfred Monteith.

Allison worked for CP Rail in his youngers years. Later in life, he hauled logs for Fraser until the 1970's. Afterwards, he became a full time potato farmer until his retirement.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2 pm from St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tilley, NB. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by Mike and Tammy Chase. The eulogy was giving by Ian Pelkey.

Pallbearers were Allie Monteith Jr., David Monteith, Tom Monteith, Leigh Monteith, Thomas Bowmaster, and Blaine Pelkey.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
