Greta Ruff

Greta Ruff of Arthurette passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on April 12, 2015.

Greta was born in Brighton, NB on November 16, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Daisy (Preedy) Peters. Greta leaves behind her husband Phillip Ruff; her daughters Donna Cozens (Daniel) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Wanda Mayo (Richard) of Arthurette; her sons G. Andrew Ruff (Betty) of Oil City, ON, Charles Ruff of Brantford, ON, James Ruff (Barb) of Brantford, ON; her sisters Felicia Logue of Bristol, Marjorie Hopper (Clair) of Thamesville, ON; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Greta was also a second mother to Phyllis LaKing (Larry) of Perth-Andover. She was predeceased by her parents; her grandson Samuel Cozens; her sisters Daisy McLaughlin and Marie Michaud; her brothers George and Ernest Peters.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Longmoore and Rev. Todd McGuire officiated. Interment will be in the Burntland Brook Cemetery at a later date.

Music for the service was by Mr. Kenneth Campbell. The eulogy was given by Rev. Todd McGuire and reading were done by Donna Cozens, Barb Ruff, and Wanda Mayo. A poem was shared by Crystal Ruff.

Pallbearers were James Longstaff, Dennis Ruff, Rob Peters, Curtis Mayo, Joe Ruff, and Peter Sidorov.
