Eric Nicholas of Tobique First Nation, NB, passed away unexpectedly at
his home on December 1, 2017.
Eric was born in Ottawa, ON, on November 14, 1973. He was the son of Kathleen "Kathy" (Coonishish) and the late Wayne Nicholas. Besides his mother, who lives at Tobique First Nation, NB, Eric leaves behind his common-law companion, Lynette Moulton; his son, Chase Paul of Fredericton, NB; his daughter, Meadow Moulton of Tobique First Nation, NB; his sister Leanne Nicholas of Tobique First Nation, NB; his brothers, Christopher Coonishish (Leslie Ann) of Chisabibi, QC, Brian Nicholas, Robin Nicholas, and Quinton Nicholas, all from Tobique First Nation, NB.
Eric was predeceased by his father, Wayne Nicholas; and his sister, Veronica Nicholas.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11 am from St. Ann's Catholic Church, Tobique First Nation, NB. Father Curtis Sappier celebrated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.
Music for the service was by organist Tracey Hamilton and the church choir. The eulogy was given by Stone Bear.
Pallbearers were Todd Nicholas, Derek Christmas, Christopher Nicholas, Brian Nicholas, Robin Nicholas, Scott Nicholas, Mikey Bernard, and Stone Bear.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
