Marjorie Doughty

Following a brief illness, Marjorie Doughty of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Arthurette, NB, passed away peacefully at the Fredericton Hospice House on October 7, 2020.

Marjorie was born in Arthurette, NB, on February 25, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Audrey (Smith) Murphy. Marjorie leaves behind her daughters, Michele McCann (Shawn) of Fredericton, NB, Cheryl Paradis of St. Petersburg, FL; her grandsons, Leith Fortin and Logan Fortin; her sisters, Brenda Murphy of Rocky Mountain House, AB, Rhonda Hatherley (Blair) of Dartmouth, NS; her brother, Leonard Murphy of Calgary, AB.

A private memorial service was held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Mr. Kenneth Campbell officiated. Interment followed in the Forest Glen Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Sheila Newlands and Leith Fortin. The eulogy was given by Leith Fortin. The urn bearer was Logan Fortin.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
