Irene Carvell

Following a lengthy illness, Irene Mae Carvell of Fredericton, NB, formerly of McLaughlin, NB, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on the evening of January 11, 2021.

Irene was born in Grand Falls, NB, on March 12, 1925. She was the daughter of the late François and Leda (Morin) Madore. Irene leaves behind her daughter, Cheryl Matthews (Larry) of New Maryland, NB; her son, Stanley Carvell (Susan) of Vero Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Josiah Matthews (Keshia) of Fredericton, NB, Jared Matthews (Hannah) of New Maryland, NB, Seth Matthews of Fredericton, NB, Andrew Carvell (Brittany), Nathaniel Carvell, and Sarah Carvell, all from Vero Beach, FL; Jarred Greenlaw (Natalie) and Jordan Greenlaw (Angelina), all from Florida; three great grandchildren; her brother, Joseph Madore of McLaughlin, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.

Irene was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Roy Carvell; her sisters, Margaret Hanson, Jeannette Woods, and Tresse Canam; her brothers, Edgar, Valet, Wilmot, and Ivan Madore.

Due to the current health restrictions, there will be no funeral held. A graveside service will be held at Linton Corner Cemetery at a later date.
