Mildred Demmings
Mildred Louise Demmings of Aroostook, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on April 10, 2021.

Mildred was born in Limestone Siding, NB, on August 8, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Myles and Adelia (Dixon) McCarthy. Mildred leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Clinton Demmings; her daughter, Pamela Demmings of Toronto, ON; her son, Derek Demmings (Jessica) of Aroostook, NB; her grandchildren, Amanda Doyle (Jeff) of Norton, NB, Callie Demmings of Aroostook, NB; her great grandchild, Fallon Doyle; sisters, Carolyn McCarthy of Four Falls, NB, Marilyn Clews of Truro, NS, Patricia Sorensen (Richard) of Grand Falls, NB; brothers, Francis McCarthy (Kathleen) of Perth-Andover, NB, Alonzo McCarthy (Jeanelle) of Grand Falls, NB, Roland McCarthy (Carol) of Grand Falls Portage, NB, and Terrence McCarthy of Grand Falls, NB.

Mildred was predeceased by her parents; her infant sister, Mary McCarthy; her sister, Ethel Morrell; her brothers, Wayne, Allison, Angus, and Robert McCarthy.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 11 am from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Aroostook, NB. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.

Music for the service was by Rick Christensen. The eulogy was given by Jessica Demmings.

Pallbearers were Roland Demmings, Basil Demmings, Darryl Demmings, Richard Sorensen, Christopher Sorensen, and Michael Sorensen.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
