John Malm

It is with great sadness that the family of John Edward Malm of Perth-Andover, NB, announce his passing at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on the evening of July 31, 2021.

John was born in New Denmark, NB, on August 7, 1935. He was the son of the late Jacob and Edna (Flickinger) Malm. John leaves behind his loving wife, Anne Malm (Svendsen); his daughter, Janice Ouellette of New Denmark, NB, Diane Nolan of Oshawa, ON; his son, Christian Malm (Tracy) of Oshawa, ON; his nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; his sister, Odessa Chown of Oshawa, ON.

John was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Mary; his brothers, Mark and Dale; his sons-in-law, John Ouellette and Kenneth Nolan.

John owned and operated "John's Pump and Motor Repair". He was also a member of the Perth-Andover Wesleyan Church for many years.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 1 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Dwayne Broad officiated, assisted by Rev. Reg Thomas. Interment followed in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Denmark, NB.

Music for the service was by organist Janice Broad. The eulogy was given by John's children, Janice Ouellette, Diane Nolan, and Christian Malm.

Pallbearers were Amanda Ouellette, Samantha Malm, Jeff Malm, Jamie Lagace, Dale Adams, and Arlen Christensen.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
