Allen Everett
It is with great sadness, that the family of Allen Everett of Aroostook announce his unexpected passing at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB on June 29, 2022.

Born in Perth-Andover, NB on July 17, 1965, he was the son of Victor and the late Ruth (Morrell) Everett. He leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Shelley; his daughters and sons-in-law, Haley & Muwin and Lindsay & Scott; his father, Victor (Dolly); sister and brother-in-law, Vicki & Mike; his brother, Joe; his brother-in-law and family, Kendall, Margaret, & Sunaa; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Ruth Everett and his mother and father-in-law, Alice & Paul Hansen.

Allen was an amazing man. He was a community spirited person and was always concerned about the well-being of his family, friends, and neighbourhood. He loved his family and was proud of their accomplishments. Shelley, Haley, and Lindsay were the loves of his life. He was a loving husband, proud and doting father, amazing son and brother, caring nephew and cousin, and loyal friend. To know Al was to love him. He was larger than life and was loved and adored by everyone who knew him. He always lit up a room and loved being with family and friends.

Al had a lifelong love of racing and was always happy to be around a racetrack. He loved the thrill and enjoyed meeting new racing friends from across Canada and the United States. His racing family will miss him. Additionally, Al was an avid fan and supporter of the River Valley Thunder and had a love of hockey since his minor hockey days. He served on the board of directors of Thunder and always believed that competitive senior hockey was important to our community. He was a proud hockey father and together with Shelley, was Haley & Lindsay’s number one cheerleaders. Al enjoyed side-by-siding with friends, discovering new trails, and spending time at his camp. Lastly, he was a long-time member of the Twin Rivers Snowmobile Club and loved being on the trails with friends on a cold winter day.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Aroostook, NB on Monday, July 4th at 2 pm. Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrated, assisted by Father Curtis Sappier. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.

Music for the service was by Kyle McLaughlin. The eulogy was given by Joe Everett. Reading were by Kendall Hansen and Susan Baker.

Pallbearers were Derek Demmings, John Lawrence, Mike Murphy, Pat Roach, Troy Williams, Kendall Hansen, Kevin McLaughlin, and Matthew Fournier.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
