Arja Salonpuro

Following a long struggle with failing health, Arja Salonpuro of Muniac, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on June 30, 2022.

Arja leaves behind her daughter, Jaana Smith, son-in-law, Jim Smith; her two grandsons, Ryan Smith (Jessica) and Jordan Smith; her great grandson, Kayden Smith; her sister-in-law, Kaija of Ontario; her niece, Elisa (Scott) and her great niece, Kaija of Ontario; her nephew, Juha of British Columbia; and nieces and nephews back in Finland. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Arja was predeceased by her parents, Arne and Sylvie; her husband, Jalo; her sister, Anita; and her brother, Arto

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Hotel Dieu Hospital and to the Perth Extra-Mural care team for their wonderful care and support.

Respecting Arja's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral held. Cremation will follow.
