Velma M. Durost
It is with great sadness the family of Velma Mary Durost(Fournier) announce her death on Friday July 29, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Born May 11, 1951 in Perth-Andover, NB to the the late Eugene and Mary(Walker) Fournier. Velma was also predeceased by one son Robert Durost and one brother Clifford Fournier.

Velma is survived by her husband of 54 years Wilfred; daughter Lynn Durost(fiance Joseph Kane); 5 grand children: Jayden Durost, Taylor Peppin(Jadidiah Scott), Brayde Durost, Ryan Pepin, and Shealyn Kane; 3 sisters: Edith Monson(John) of Presque Isle, ME, Joyce Soules of Carlingford, NB and Mary Duncan(Bill) of Aberdeen, Scotland; 3 brothers: Alex Fournier(Betty) of Perth-Andover, NB, George Fournier(Sonya) of Perth-Andover, NB and Murray Fournier(Donna) of Tinker, NB as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Keeping with Velma's wishes there will be no formal visitation. A memorial service in her memory will be held Tuesday August 2, 2022 at 2:00pm from Brunswick Chapel, Perth-Andover, NB. Service will be officiated by Rev. Todd McGuire. For those who wish donations made to the Southern Victoria Cancer Assistance Fund would be appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
