Weldon Aiton

Following a lengthy illness, Weldon Andrew Aiton of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at the Edmundston Regional Hospital on the morning of August 7, 2022.

Weldon was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on December 17, 1940. He was the son of the late Andrew and Marie (Hathaway) Aiton. Weldon leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Carlean Aiton (Michaud); his son, Andrew Weldon Aiton (Rheanna) of Moncton, NB; his grandchildren, Lily and Ashley; his step-grandson, Colin; along with several nieces and nephews.

Weldon was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Sandra Bradford; and his brother, Howard Aiton.

Respecting Weldon's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral held. Interment will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Victoria County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
