Judy Woods

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Judy Evelyn Woods of Perth-Andover, NB, announce her unexpected passing at home on November 23, 2022.

Judy was born in Bath, NB, on November 12, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Davidson) Bishop. Judy leaves behind her beloved sons, Reg Woods (Jamie) of Darlings Island, NB, and Tyler Woods (Tasha) of Lower Kintore, NB; her grandchildren, Sophie, Nory, Ellie, and Libby; her sisters, Jessie Bishop (Dan Dionne) of Tilley, NB, Ruth Sullivan of Saint John, NB, Viota Burrell (David) of Fredericton, NB; her brothers, Lance Bishop (Linda) of Arthurette, NB, Rance Bishop (Lori) of Perth-Andover, NB, and Bryce Bishop (Della) of Perth-Andover, NB; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Judy was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Douglas Woods; her sister, Diane Bishop; her brothers, Alan and Stephen Bishop.

Prior to her retirement, Judy worked as a clerk for Canada Post in Perth-Andover, NB. She also previously worked as a clerk for the Village of Perth-Andover. Judy was loved by so many people and had a huge heart. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and s true friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 1-3 pm at Brunswick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Rural Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
