Marjorie Findley

The children of Marjorie "Marnie" Findley (nee O'Leary) announce her passing on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Victoria Glen Manor in Perth-Andover, NB. Marnie was born in Halifax, NS, on September 21, 1930.

She was a mother, a grammy, a great-grammy, and an aunt in her 92 years of life.

Marnie was predeceased by her parents, William and Eileen (Davis) O'Leary; her husband, Kenneth Findley; her son, Zane Findley; her sons-in-law, Ned McElveny and Earl Hanson; her sisters, Kay Robinson, Phyllis Pregg, Eileen O'Leary, and Janet O'Leary.

Marnie is survived by her children, Charlotte Hartley (Lawrence) of Weldon, NB, Terrance "Terry" Findley of Canmore, AB, Susan McElveny of Enterprise, NB, Virginia "Ginni" Hanson of Plaster Rock, NB, and Shawna DeMerchant (Robin) of Upper Kintore, NB; 15 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Marnie's family is eternally grateful to the Aroostook Wing and everyone at the Victoria Glen Manor for the love, care, and respect given to her while in their care.

Respecting Marnie's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
