Archibald "Archie" Monteith
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Archibald "Archie" Monteith of Medford, NB, announce his passing at the Victoria Glen Manor on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Archie was born in Grand Falls, NB, on July 24, 1931. He was the son of the late Thomas and Alma (McQuade) Monteith. Archie leaves behind his loving wife of 71 years, Etta Monteith (McCarthy); his children, Brian Monteith (Linda) of Fredericton, NB, Cynthia Monteith (Terry Boschee) of Medicine Hat, AB, Frank Monteith (Belva) of Tilley, NB; his grandchildren, Tina, Jamie, Jessica, Jillian, Jenna, Brittany, Brandy, Kelly, and Daniala; his great grandchildren, Tate, Abbey, Max, Eli, Will, Luca, Simon, Hudson, Levi, Oliver, Henry, Rory, and Cole; his step grandson, Luc Rossignol; his sister, Donna Mulherin of Grand Falls, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Archie was predeceased by his parents; his sons, Billy and Michael Monteith, along with three infant children; his grandson, Corey Monteith; his step grandson, Pierre Rossignol; his sister, Geraldine Chandler; his brothers, Allison and Wilfred Monteith.

Funeral service was held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 3 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Harold Boomer officiated, assisted by Pastor David Hartlen. Interment will be in St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery in Medford, NB, at a later date.

Music for the service was by John Cahill. The eulogy was given by Frank Monteith.

Pallbearers were Colin Smith, Dave Brideau, Ben Thibault, Shane Price, Jason Lejeune, and Dave Monteith

Archie's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of the Victoria Glen Manor for the care given to him during his stay there.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
