Joan Wright

Following a courageous battle with cancer, Joan Kathleen Wright of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on the morning of May 29, 2023.

Joan was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on June 16, 1950. She was the daughter of Mary Cunningham (Sisson) and the late Arnold Hanson. Besides her mother, who lives in Perth-Andover, NB, Joan leaves behind her daughter, Toni Neale (Paul) of Caledonia, ON; her son, Craig Bullock of Hamilton, ON; her grandchildren, Kyle Bullock, Emilie Bullock, Alyissa Bullock, Lyanna Donovan, Brendon Dowden, Daniel Dowden, and Abby Neale; her great grandson, Benson Boston-Neale; her sisters, Dolly McCoy of Oshawa, ON, Dorothy Deeley (Peter) of Hamilton, ON, Gladys Bartlett (Merlin) of Perth-Andover, NB, Louise Ahearn (Dan) Of Perth-Andover, NB, Nancy Lachapelle of Hamilton, ON, and Kim Hanson of Hamilton, ON; her brothers, Curtis Hanson (Edith) of Hamilton, ON, Roy Hanson of Perth-Andover, NB, and Howard Hanson of Hamilton, ON; along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Pastor David Ferrell officiated. Interment followed in Larlee Creek Cemetery.

Music for the service was by Pastor David and Roma Ferrell. Several people shared memories of Joan at the service.

Pallbearers were Craig Bullock, Paul Neale, Curtis Hanson, Howard Hanson, Roy Hanson, and Rodney Bartlett.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, NB.
