Bernadette Pelletier

1938-2023

Bernadette Pelletier
It is with heavy hearts that our family annonces the death of our mother Bernadette (Bouchard) Pelletier on August 27, 2023 in Plaster Rock, at the age of 85.

Bernadette was born on May 27, 1938 in Edmundston to Firmin and Lydia (Lagace) Bouchard. She was the wife of the late Normand Pelletier. Bernadette is survived by her son Gilles (Tina) of Plaster Rock, her daughters Norma Pelletier (Rene Gaudreau) and Verna Pelletier (Tommy Milne) of Toronto. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Jaxon, Dayton, Melanie, Matthew, Vincent, Vanessa and 1 great grand daughter, Victoria. Also by many nieces and nephews.

Bernadette was predeceased by her husband Normand, parents Firmin and Lydia and was the last surviving member of her immediate family being predeceased by 16 brothers and sisters.

Bernadette enjoyed travelling, especially to Toronto and Plaster Rock where she could spoil her grandkids but her favorite place to be was at the cottage surrounded by family and friends.

Faith was very important to Bernadette and we are reassured that she is now reunited with those who went before her.

Funeral service was held on Saturday September 02, 2023 from the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows parish Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers were Jaxon Pelletier, Dayton Pelletier, Melanie Pelletier, Matthew Spence, Thomas Milne and Rene Gaudreau. The first reading was read by Gilberte Collin and the second reading by Louise Pelletier. Collection was made by Melanie Pelletier and Matthew Spence. Bookmarks were distributed by Jaxon Pelletier and Dayton Pelletier. An Eulogy was made by Tina Pelletier.

If so desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

We would like to express our sincere Thanks to Dr. Wecker, Dr. Lepage and Dr. Paillard for their support throughout Bernadette's journey and to the staff of Extra Mural Perth Unit for their kind, compassionate care not only to Bernadette but also to our family.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Les Résidences funéraires Brunswick Ltée, Edmundston.
