Gilbert "Gil" "Bill" Michaud
1943-2023
Gilbert "Gil" "Bill" Michaud passed away on
September 3, 2023, at the Edmundston Regional Hospital at the age of
80 years and seven months old. He was the husband of the late Shirley
Darcy.
Born to the late John and late Winnifred (Desjardins) Michaud on February 2, 1943, in St-Léonard, NB, Gilbert leaves behind his beloved daughter, Lisa Dehler (Blake) of Woodstock Valley, CT, four grandchildren, Alexis, Courtney, Alex, Kolton, and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, John (late Alma) of St-Léonard, Carl of Washington, three sisters, Evelyn Akerley (late Cameron) of Grand Falls, Florence Therrien (Willard) of Grand Falls and Joanne Michaud (Danny Marquis) of Edmundston. He was predeceased by six brothers, Gerry, Aurele, Roy, Roger, Gene, Claude and a sister, Jeanne.
Respecting Gilbert's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A graveside service will take place Friday, September 8, 2023, at 11 O'clock at the St-Léonard parish cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Les Résidences funéraires Brunswick Ltée, Edmundston.
