Richard Spencer

Following a period of failing health, Richard Otis Spencer of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Richard was born in Fredericton, NB, on July 14, 1942. He was the son of the late Emery and Daisy (Estey) Spencer. Richard leaves behind his loving companion, Connie Thomas; his daughters, Charlotte Spencer (Greg Hatchard) of Oromocto, NB, Alison Spencer (Donald Eccleston) of Anderson Road, NB, Bernadine Spencer of Alberta, Monica Spencer (Danny Shaw) of Bedford Cross Road, Melissa Spencer (Kyle Hoyt) of Alberta, Tina Spencer (Michael Rei) of Tilley, NB; his sons, Daniel Spencer (Sylvie Bernier) of Grand Falls, NB, and Joey Spencer (Tammy) of Perth-Andover, NB; his 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, whom he adored; his sister, Geneva Arbeau of Fredericton, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.

Richard was predeceased by his parents; his sisters, Shirley Johnston (Bobby), Phyllis Dionne, Barbara Gee, and Mae Johnston-Nash; his brothers, Floyd Spencer, and Ken Estey.

Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday from 12-2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Bradley Brymer officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
