Eugene Kinney

Following a period of failing health, Eugene P. Kinney of California Settlement, NB, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 26, 2023.

Eugene was born in California Settlement, NB, on March 20, 1947. He was the son of the late Phillip and Pauline (Dee) Kinney. Eugene leaves behind his loving wife, Edith Kinney (O'Leary); his daughters, Deidra Guitard (Rick) of Ontario, Bobbi-Jo Kinney of California Settlement, NB; his sons, Eugene Kinney Jr. (Cymantha) of Ontario, James Kinney (Natasha) of Ontario, Trevor Kinney (Allyson) of California Settlement, NB; ten grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; his sisters, Betty Lou Moore of Virginia, Connie Theriault of Grand Falls, NB, Denise Lagace (Mike) of California Settlement, NB, Melissa Butler (Eldon) of California Settlement, NB; his brothers, Arthur Kinney (Colleen Howlett) of New Denmark, NB, Dale Kinney (Gail) of Virginia, Phillip Kinney of California Settlement, NB, Terry Kinney (Yolanda) of California Settlement, NB, George Kinney (Samantha) of Grand Falls, NB; along with many nieces and nephews.

Respecting Eugene's wishes, there will be no visitation of funeral held. A graveside service will be held at the Sunset Cemetery in California Settlement, NB, at a later date. Rev. Roy Dee officiating.

For those who wish, memorial donation to the NB Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
